Kevin and Carlos' style was impeccable and the guest experience was the baseline for design. They described a Mad-Men chic, Old Hollywood lounge feel for their aesthetic. From the custom illustrated personalized menu booklets, the swanky library with a nod to their love for travel, to the "States of Our Union" seating chart representing where each guest hailed from, each touch point was meticulously curated and thought through from start to finish.

I loved that they began their day with a sunrise photo session! It set the tone for their entire wedding and they were able to be present and celebrate with their guests for the entire evening.

The place setting design was most important to them, after all, guests are at their dinner seats for a good portion of the reception. Personalizing the menu books with their story and fun facts about themselves and their guests added an unexpected detail and keepsake. Velvet was an important textile to achieve the overall look and was used in the burgundy drapery backdrops and charcoal napkins. The most awe-inspiring detail were the 36 mid-century modern chandeliers that hung over the dining tables, creating a magical ambiance under the stars.

Once dinner was finished, the dance area was revealed as guests were welcomed into the ballroom with energetic architectural lighting and Girlfriend ATX spinning their favorite dance music. Guests re-fueled with a decadent dessert bar and a late night delivery of In-n-Out, a must for the grooms to treat their East Coast and Canadian guests to the iconic California staple.
